Very spacious and relaxing accommodation. In 1992, Chikurintei had the great honor of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko staying in this room. And in 1996, it was another great honor to have the Crown Prince and Crown Princess dine here. This room has the largest private outdoor bath suitable for up to maximum 4 persons at the same time. The outdoor bath is also the closest one to Mt. Mifune, offering great views.

Japanese-Western style room: Gochiku
Enjoy the tranquil air and soothing scenery afforded by this elevated, corner room. It blends well with Mifuneyama Rakuen.

The luxuriously spacious open-air bath and veranda were constructed to offer impressive views of Mifuneyama. The grounds of our establishment are especially quiet, allowing for time to flow by gently and slowly.

Japanese style room: Sazanka
The bath walls are made with flat stones laid like bricks. In autumn, the scene totally changes with bright-red leaves. When lit up in the evening, the leaves quietly float in the darkness and on the bath water.

The breadth and depth of the scenery make it precious. The outdoor bath's roof can be retracted or extended, you can enjoy outdoor bathing rain or shine.

Only one large picture window separates the inside and outside of this room. It bestows larger-than-life views of the white-gravel courtyard garden. It even looks like a huge, framed Chinese painting.
